If this person committed something serious, then I can understand you wouldn't want him/her around. I wouldn't either, but there are a lot of felons out there with various types of felonies committed. It is rough for people who have committed a felony when they were young and have to pay for it for the rest of their lives. My son got a felony when he was young (17 going on 18)for using drugs. His first love had another guy and had the audacity to call him when she was with that other guy. She tore his heart apart and this was his way of handling his hurt. It was wrong and stupid, but it happened! He was still only a kid! Now do you think he should be punished for the rest of his life because he didn't know how to cope with his pain and did something stupid! He is 24 years old now and is still paying for that! Should he pay for the rest of his life? What about if someone's loved ones came into a situation similar to what my son went through.....do you think they should be shunned from all places and be treated like dirt? I honestly think that people should take into consideration of finding out what kind of felony was committed before shutting the door on people because of a felony. We all have skeletons in our closet! He who is without sin, cast the first stone! and always remember!!! God does not like Ugly!!!and what goes around comes around!
