One big problem is that the walls are thin, and I have been on the bad end of this situation. One of my neighbours has an issue with us and always calls the police on us for a "noise disturbance," but in actuality, everyone in my building can be heard, and they are usually much louder than we are. Whenever any noise complaint is made, whether we are there or not, we are always accused of being the offenders by the same neighbour. I agree that the building as a whole should not be as loud as they are, but the walls are so thin that you have to deal with everyone's noise. In fact, I know what the person who complains on us watches on a daily basis, talks about, and does with her boyfriend (wrong for all kinds of reasons). If you can handle a little bit of others' noise, then this isn't a bad place.

As for management, I haven't had any specific problems with them, or nothing serious. The only "problem" I've had is one of the staff acting like there was a problem with me getting a package with my name on it (usually staff just tells you to go get your package from the place where they keep packages that were delivered when you're gone, then match the apt number on the package with the apt number on the package slip). I'd suggest not paying rent online, because they keep screwing up and not crediting it to the balance.

As for safety, I don't see police around the property on a regular basis. Occasionally they'll patrol around, but usually they're a few blocks away ticketing people. There are a few questionable people I've seen, but so far there has not been any crime.

Parking can be a minor problem, but chances are you can still park by your building.

We've had no problems with maintenance, but the supplied kitchen appliances could be MUCH better.

Overall, it's worth the discounted price we're paying, but it's certainly not the best of the best.
