Please do not make the same mistake that I did and move to this HORRIBLE place. Here is what has happened. When I FIRST moved in the apartments were decent enough for the price. However, it didnt take long to see that this place is helpt together with popsicle sticked and model glue.
1. ROOF LEAKS- Talk to almost anyone there... ITS GOING TO HAPPEN. I had multiple leaks that they COVERED WITH PAINT EACH TIME IT LEAKED AGAIN when they didnt fix it which was about 4-5 times. They fixed it right' Yeah, before Ike hit and they never fixed it since.
2. Staff in the office went to not so great to HELLS DEMONS. They are so inept it blows my mind to think that any company would let that many airheads work in the same spot.
3. Make sure you go over damages with a fine comb when you move in (ONCE AGAIN, DO NOT MOVE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE). They tried to bill me for a bunch of stuff that was already reported but they never even checked the damages sheet before they sentme the bill. TAKE PICTURES IF YOU HAVE TO.
4. GET EVERRRRYTHING ON PAPER WITH THESE CLOWNS. They even tried to say that I didnt pay rent on time but luckily I had proof of the pay stub and a witness at the time.
5. ROACHES...... EVERYWHERE! Showers, swiming in toilets, taking poo's in your pots and pans' You better believe it! Get a saddle.. the roaches are big enough to ride.
6. Something very non-legal is happening at the end of Inwood everytime I drive up there to get into the gate. Think it might be a hotspot for drug deals as there are ALWAYS cars there parked behind the bushes so no-one can see. Pretty sure they is more than one prostitute that works back there as well.
7. Safety' I stayed during Ike and this place rocked and rolled like a trailer in a tornado.
8. Dont even think about their free laundrymat... most of the time the washers and driers are broke and some very shady people non-resident people like to come in and either take crap or take ALL the free machines.
dont forget to look at the 1.2 inch doors haps at the tops of some of the doors like mine. That plastic piece doesnt do ---- to keep drafts out.
BOTTOM LINE... I promise you, you will regret it. For the love of Christ dont make the same mistake I did.

smaple,
On the other reviews, you stated that you lived here for three years. Are you one of the airheads? Your posts are very suspicious to me. WARNING: AIRHEAD ALERT! Thanks for making up an account, manager or staff member. I bet I know who you really are. STUPID!

ResourceRep: Best customer service possible? THAT is notttt true, start by having effective communication with the rest of your staff- everyone seems to give different information to residents.

That's so true! EVERYONE in the staff gives different answers to the same question. I went from a one year lease to month-to-month for two months until my new apartment was ready, and I called to ask how much my rent increase would be. The staff quoted me 4 different rates, within a $200 per month price range! It was insane...I finally just talked to the manager every month, and she would make up a rate--they never did figure out how much I needed to pay. The same thing happened to my co-worker as well--60 yr old guy who needed a place to stay for 4 months while his townhouse was being renovated, and he was interested in Tanglewood b/c it's down the street from our office. He talked to 4 different leasing agents (including the manager at the time) and they quoted him 5 different prices--in fact, the manger gave him two different estimates on the SAME apt for the SAME amount of time--15 minutes apart! Of course, that's not the same manager that runs the place now. They don't keep staff more than a couple of montsh--they went through five or six managers in the 18 months I lived there. They're completely inept in the office...these apartments are cheap but they're cheap for a reason...I'd try to find something better down the street.
