The Lighthouse at Willowbrook

Very deceiving.... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/25/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007 2 responses   I had moved into this apartments with my boyfriend around November. They were nice...very spacious. I was moved by the attitude towards the staff. They were nice friendly....but it was all FAKE!!! The staff was friendly in the beginning kissing your A$$...doing everything in there power to get you to sign that lease. Well, we fell for it. We signed our leasing thinking we were moving into an upscale apartment complex. With friendly staff. About two months into our lease we started realizing horrible parking problems. They say they tow to make room for us...well with the towing policy it doesn't help anyone. Me working in the field again..before they can tow they have to have markings EVERYWHERE saying resident parking and visitor parking. Yes, the visitor is marked. They also have to put a warning sticker on your car before they tow. Because they do it late into the early morning hours. We are sleep for heaven sake. I also needed maintenance in the apartments it was past office hours. I know from experience in the leasing field that there is a maintenance on call 24 hours. I was locked in side my apartments because the door handle had broken. It took us 3 calls to get someone out here. We had guest over. They could not leave because the door handle was broke. After an hour and a half the poor guy came and fixed it. I think there is a lack of communication skills within the office. I am very disappointed in the office staff. Also..noise..is horrible....you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbor is doing. It is HORRIBLE... The main question is would you want to move somewhere, where rent is extreamly high to be treated with disrespect' NO...I have never heard of apartment ratings until I talked to my lawyer about the apartment complex. If I would have known all of the information I know now...I would have NEVER moved in here. So, Please Think about it....
