ghetto fabulous From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/16/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   If you're into pomp and circumstance with no substance, Alta Lofts is your place. Get ready to pay luxury prices for ghetto crime. I've lived there almost a year, and will gladly be leaving as soon as my lease is up. I pay too much to repeatedly be informed of apartment break-ins with crowbars, not to mention the number of cars that have been broken into. Sadly, I love the style of my apartment. It's modern and the kitchen is amazing, but it can't compensate for the crime and the rude office staff. Why they hired Mae I will never understand. I don't think the company intends to have such a rude, racist and poorly spoken individual representing them.....yet she remains, unapologetically. I swear sometimes even her coworkers seem embarrassed by her behavior. I see what the company was going for with this venture, but they've fallen short. A re-working of their staff, and any attempt to retain their current renters would help quite a bit. I bet their retention rate is pitiful. In my opinion, you can spend this much money at a lot of nicer places in nicer neighborhoods, with a much nicer staff.
