Better Experience than Others

I know that others have had bad experiences; I may have just been lucky, but I've had a pretty positive experience. I moved here last year after living in a place with very poor customer service, and I have been pleasantly surprised with the office staff. The manager is fantastic, and any time I have had a problem it has been fixed right away. While this being a new complex I have had a few problems, but nothing has lingered. Safety is definitely a concern, I have never personally felt unsafe per se but I know that many have had problems with break-ins.
I also like that I can get a decent quality apartment that is still relatively inexpensive because it is small (and in the mid-rise)-I'd rather have quality over quantity for the price. It's not amazing quality but I think it's worth the price, and there are few other places in the area that even offer single apartments for this price (at least ones within the same tier quality)
There are some rowdy/rude residents but I don't know how much it can be helped; I know the staff has taken some steps to keep things under control.
Some people have complained about electric bills-all I can say is that my energy bills are 1/3-1/2 of the portion I paid in a 2BR last year. Energy prices have gone up significantly lately so this may be part of the reason people are paying more for their bills'
Overall I'm happy enough to stick it out for another year; the area around it is getting nicer so I'm optimistic the crime problems will improve as time goes on.
