I have lived here for 9 months now. The property is not well maintained. The gates never works! Few days back, after the rain, one gate does not even open with the remote control. considering their past record, it will take atleats 5 months to get it fixed!

I have been complaining aboutt he blinds for months now. But it has not been fixed yet. the aprtments are way over priced. There are newer apartments with better rates around. Dont get fooled by the looks!

the paid for parking spots are so small with supporting beams right after u get out of the car door, that you have to squeeze out.

I couldn't agree more. The gates are constantly broken. This management company seems to have a cash flow problem. My rent check is cashed THE DAY after they receive it yet things take MONTHS to get fixed around here. Gates broken, one time we went about a month with no landscaping. The weeds were up to my buttcrack (and I'm not kidding). It was so unsightly. Cigarette butts are thrown all over the place by the new, low-class tenants moving in. Parties are thrown in the pool area constantly and people never clean up after themselves. Residents let their YOUNG children play in the Fitness Center and thus, equipment is constantly broken. This place had potential, but ever since DMS sold the property to MBS, it's gone downhill and is still sliding. DON'T RENT HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY STANDARDS!!!

We are about to move in and are a bit concerned in view of all reviews posted. The apartments are very nice and this is the main reason why we have choosen this residence. But we hate to think that we will have problems with maintenance, and noise. We thought we were paying the price to be in a nice place. Is this really not the case?

I live in The Park at Walnut Creek in Austin, TX that MBS bought last year. The same problems have happened. Our gates have not worked in months. There was a trash problem with it overflowing. A lot of loitering goes on with shadier people moving in. It takes months to get anything repaired. They are not lying here about MBS.

I posted the above review and am moving out soon! I suggest that you drive around the complex before you rent here. They way, you can get a first hand opinion of the place and does not ahve to rely on other people's comments. now, both the gates are broken. It has been broken for abt a month, and trust me, am not exaggerating. About 2 weeks back, I heard the car theft alarms at nite. I thought that it just went off at nite by mistake and did nothing. But i nthe morning, i saw police around, and am still living with the guilt of not doing anything when I heard it, considering how downthrown this place is!
