Yo!

BEWARE.....

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007

I have lived in these apartments for 20 months, and since the new management tookover this place has gone down hill.

Here are the issues:

The pool never works, they say the hours are 6:00AM - 10:00 PM. But frequently the pool is not open before 10:00 AM and in the evenings it is locked. The pumps on the pool are never running so you are basically swimming in stagnant water that is probably full of pee.

We were supposed to have a new gym in the fall of 2006, it is now May of 2007 and the foundation for the building has not been laid. The management says now it will be done by May 31st this is highly doubtful. The place where the new gym is going to be is where the mailboxes used to be. The answer for a place to put our mailboxes is on the side of a sidewalk, in a temporary building. When you check your mail people are walking next to you and brushing up against you, and there are extensions cords running everywhere.

The temporary gym is in a old apartment, so it is not setup properly for a "gym".

The spa/jacuzzi does not work, it is cold and the jets do not work in it. The timer turns for the jets and the time is running but nothing happens with the jets. I have a feeling there is no heat in the jacuzzi/spa because there are no pumps running.

The managment office does not communicate with the tenants. When they do communicate that something is going to happen such as testing fire alarms they give less than 24 hours notice.

Parking is tight in this complex but there are garages to park in. The problem here is apparently anyone can request to have a handicapped sign put up. Thus reducing the number of available spaces. There are handicapped spaces in the complex that never get used but they continue to add signs when people move in.

There is a gate guard in the complex. The problem with the guard is they never call you to see if it is ok to allow guests in, and when they walk the complex or go to the bathroom or take a break they open up the visitors entrance and leave it open until they return. So much for feeling secure.

The gates in the complex that walk out to the side streets are locked with padlocks. The management office has never communicated that this was going to happen. I decided to walk to Home Depot one day, walk all the way across the complex to find out the gates have padlocks on them and you cannot walk out to Pin Oak Drive.

If I had the decision to make again I would not move here. The management office is full of false promises. I have lived in apartments that cost 500/mth and have at least had a working pool. The service from the management office is horrible.
