Don't be fooled by the OUTSIDE of things here. You WILL want 2 read this! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/20/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   So, this is my first apartment. I LOVED the scenery here. I loved how there were so many trees. It seemed so nice and peaceful. It was this or another apartment down the road. The Trails of Steeplechase won. (the promenade)But then from day one everything went down hill from there. *The pools ready when I moved in. (I moved in during the summer!) *Every time I wanted to cook outside I had to walk around the apartments just to find a grill to set the food on. *We didn't have a bar installed in the kitchen. They took off $50 bucks from the rent. It took days for them to install the bar. *The fan in my bedroom didnt work. But it was later fixed. *There was still tape around all of the mirrors in the bathroom. Many of these little green sticky circles were all over the mirrors as well. *The closest connecting to the bathroom had a nail sticking out of the floor. *The dining room light stopped working. July will be a year and it still hasn't been fixed. I bought other lamps to light up the dining room. *Our A.C. started making dripping sounds. Our filter had FROZEN to the A.C. Another thing with that is just yesterday my A.C. completely stopped working. It got up to 90 degress in here. Thank goodness I had to go to work instead of being in this oven. *There are wasps in my apt. Ive had another unidentified bug crawling in the living room. And just the other day there was a tiny cricket on my BED! I NEVER keep my doors open...wonder how they got in. *The molding on the shower faucet came off, they fixed it and it came off again. *My neighbors' truck was broken into twice. His apartment door was kicked in and his apartment was robbed. I was upstairs at the time of the robbery and didn't hear a thing. VERY SCARY! As I was walking around the apartments I saw that someones window had been broken and glass was shattered everywhere. *When I first moved in there was a time of almost 2 weeks the grass has not been cut and the grass was pretty high! *Around the month of March everything on top of my fridge had been ruined. It rained pretty hard one night and the roof had leaked into my kitchen. *There is NO light where my car is parked. *I hear everything my neighbor talks about (downstairs) I guess the only good thing I can really say is when something wasnt working it was fixed soon( but not done properly), the pools are nice and it LOOKS great here but.....I would NOT recommend this apartment to anyone after what I've experienced in just 11 months.
