Best Near the Med Center From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/18/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I recently moved into The Valencia and could not be happier with what I have experienced. Prior negative reviews are almost certainly a result of the conversion process. A person with a great deal of knowledge/experience working in Houston real estate said that she was "amazed" at how well the condominiums were selling and that The Valencia is the best property that the owner has constructed (Ron Lozoff owns several complexes in both Houston and Atlanta.). The grounds are gorgeous and well-maintained. I have not heard ANY noise through the walls or outside of my unit (and I live by the pool!). Management has been completely helpful and prompt. For example, I had a small problem with my microwave. I reported it. Less than 30 minutes later, it was fixed with no further trouble. Basic cable is included in the HOA fee, and the well-equipped in-house gym saves me $50 per month on gym fees. The immediate proximity to the Medical Center and the light rail is icing on the cake. Shop around and compare, but don't sign the dotted line without giving The Valencia a look. There is a good chance that you'll be glad you did!
