Thorntree Apartments

Horrible!!!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/17/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I moved in last August and i regret it everyday, the only reason we moved in because my Boyfriend didnt have the best credit and dont base their background check on credit, that was the only good thing. When we moved in the leasing lady promised us a new stove when i called and asked when i getting it they told she had got fired and they didnt know what i was talking about. Our carpet was cleaned and it was still damp when we moved in and when it eventually dried up there were dirt spots all over it, my dishwasher didnt work still doesnt work and ive been here almost a year. Their playground consist of a steep dangerous slide and a monkey bar set that is so small that only about 4 kids can play on it. The pool is disgusting ive never seen it been cleaned, and their are about 20-30 ppl in it almost everyday, even at night. The apartments are roach infested no matter how much you clean and how many times pest control comes they dont go away, they have rats in their apartments, not mice, RATS. And they will tell you that cant do anything about it that you should kill it yourself. We also went without hot water for 4 days straight, twice. The people that live here are also horrible, there is always some time of drama going on.Last of all dont be fooled by management, they might act nice at first, but that is just for you to lease one of their crappy, high priced apartments. They are rude and dont care about the people that live here, or what they go through because they dont live here themselves. I cant wait till' my lease is up so i can get the hell out. So if you plan on moving in yeah the rent might not be bad, but you get what you pay for, and at Thorntree you dont even get that.
