From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/19/2006 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002   The only reason I lived here is because I could literally walk to work in less than 2 minutes (I worked in the office building directly behind the complex). Duriing my stay there, we experienced a massive tropical storm which severly flooded the complex. Luckily we lived on the second floor, but my wife and I both lost our cars since we parked below street level. I closely watched how the office management handled this. The poor people below us were totally flooded out. We helped them try and move some of their stuff the next day to dry out, and they told us the management wouldn't let them break their lease and didnt have any open units for them to stay in temproarily. So these people had to get a hotel room out of their own pocket, and this went on for several days. It was pathetic. I couldn;t beleive the lack of compassion from the management in this situation. After all, they didnt live there,why should they care' Also don't ever be 2 days late with your rent, they will fine you no mater what. We had a roach problem due to the massive trees in close proximity to our back porch. The big flying tree roaches, too. You don't want one (or more) of these things flying around your bedroom at night! We had assigned covered parking, but the carport roof leaked so badly, so there was really no difference in parking out in the open. A comment was made about the swimming pool - I wouldn't even consider it a pool, its more like a water puddle. Literally, you could jump from one end to the other, its extremely small. One car was broken into during my 1 yr. lease. A good amount of domestic disturbances could be heard, especially in the hallway units. I only called maintenance out once to fix my keyhole in the front door. The key wouldnt go in. He finally showed up 2 hours later all sweaty and pissed off that he had to work on a Saturday. He didn't even say a single word to me the entire time, he fixed it and walked off slamming the door behind him. P.S. All the good reviews this place has gotten have obviously been written by the property management. Everyone I talked to that lived here was 100% displeased.
