I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to this apartments. The management is horrible. I have gotten three notices on my door for balances due on my apartments and everytime i call in about it. They tell me oh we sorry it was an accident. When we first moved into the apartments our apt wasnt ready cause they decided on move in day to change carpet and re tile the bathroom floors. That should have been done days before we moved in not on moving day. When i got ready to move out they reported to the new apartment that i had been late on my rent nine times and that i owed them money. When i went up there to speak to the manager, he goes and looks at my file. An than tells me it was an office error. That they had put someone esles info in my file. Wtf, how do you put other peoples info in someone esles file. also i have called so many times about my a/c and my washer and dryer, and dish washer not working and they always say they coming out to fix it, but i keep having the same problems. They never answer the phone they always have the machine on when you call. The construction that they have going on at the parks is a mess. They leave there nails and materials just laying around in the parking lot and grass. My boyfriend has gotten three flat tires from them leaving nails out in the street. the walls are so thin I can hear the ppl next door talking and security is a joke. They made us pay $25 for a gate opener when we had a perfectly good working keypad, because they took away the keypad, but keep the key pad on the otherside. An if you didn't buy the gate opener guess what you could get in, wtf. I can not wait to move at the end of the month.

Thats horrible that I'm not the only one experiences this. I tried called the corp. office and they never called me back. These apartments are a joke.

It really boils down to a management office who not only don't care, but are far too unintelligent to know what they're doing. They LOST my money order one month, and by the time they finally found it, I'd already paid another $800 on a credit card. But did they call me to tell me they'd found the original payment? Of course not! Instead I had to find out by calling Money Gram once I found the stubs, and they told me that the money order has been cashed about a week prior to that. I called the office, spoke to James, and he acted like it was no big deal that they found my money but never called to inform me. They should all be brought up on fraud charges. Either that, or let me have 2:00 with Clarence and James both. I'd love to beat the $h!t out of both of them...especially Clarence.

management team are "rogue" just interested in rent not resolving problems,infact they get downright mad if you complain. If you are single female, I suggest you stay far far away from Meyer Park lakeside apartments even if you have live/find a place more expensive but have better concept and awareness of the law, protection of your privacy and safety. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. However, if you"re male preditor, criminal, like loud music, like distrubing neighbor, spying on females then you'll fit in well.
