This place has been a headache from the very beginning. They cheated me out of a credit that I was supposed to receive from rent.com - saying that I never mentioned it -Lie #1. Never gave my husband or I the automatic gate key when we moved in (just the code and then changed it without informing the residents) - several of us were locked out (7:30 pm) and couldn't get in until someone left the property. Found out that several of the new residents were also unaware that there were remote controls for the gates. When I confronted the management about it, they said "oh, didn't we give those to you''" NO, they didn't and it had been almost 3 mos since move-in (many experiences getting soaked trying to type in the "code" on the access panel and having to keep repeating it before it finally would work - then one day just didn't work at all because they decided to change the code.) Oh, I must not forget to mention that at least one of the two gates is broken every week - I just keep hoping they both don't decide to break at the same time!! Their maintenance is unresponsive and unless to call 4 or 5 times continuously in a day, they won't address the problem. I don't know about you guys but I have better things to do than waste my time doing someone else's job. This probably explains why we have seen so many residents move out in the 7 mos that we have been here. I think the apartment above us has been moved in and out of about 3 times during that short period. Quite often the neighbors are pounding and making all sorts of noise at ungodly hours (1:30am during the middle of the week) and 2 nights ago someone was pounding on a neighbor's door for almost 30 min (again around 1 am) As you can see, not the brightest people around, here is a clue to that rude person (go back to your car and call whoever you are trying to reach - rather that waking up the entire complex in the middle of the night). Don't be fooled by the nice exterior of the building - there are some trashy people that seem to linger around - yelling outside, falling over drunk and loudly shouting profanity about some guy and their personal life. Please I do not want to know about your personal issues - take it somewhere else. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. Incompetent management, lousy maintenance, questionable residents and an overall bad experience. We will be moving out in the next month - thank god we signed the shorter lease. I am just afraid that they will find a way to SCREW us out of our $500 deposit somehow - I don't trust them. And besides, the deposit was ridiculously high to begin with. Oh, and if you want to have internet service, you have to buy their cable package otherwise you can't receive online service. Even though they say it is internet ready they will block your apartment unless you buy into the cable pkg. Their excuse is that when they block your apartment, they cannot just block the cable, they have to block everything. I don't know if they are just that stupid (quite possible) or if they are just feeding their residents more LIES. Don't waste your time - this place is horrible.
