The entire staff and the Richdale Group are not what they appear to be!
I heard every excuse in the book to keep all plus an additional $19.00 balance due of my $400.00 deposit. I was directed to call this person and that person and was put on hold numerous times until I finally hung up. Upon signing a one year lease, I paid a year up front which was in excess of $10,000. In April, 3 months shy of my one year lease, I got married. Needless to say, my one bedroom apartment was not sufficient for two people and their belongings, so we bought a house. I have been waiting patiently for a refund of at least 2 of the 3 months I vacated my apartment early but it looks as if the Tuscany staff is going to outwait me. My husband plans to take this to court, so wish us luck. I guess it's the principal of this whole operation. I hope people read these reviews, had I read them, I never would have considered Tuscany!

well, I feel bad for you, but you did move out 3 months early though. I seriously doubt any apartment complex in houston area will refund the money when you move out early. As for deposit, seems like a lot of ppl are having trouble getting them back.

Im curiouse, did you get your money back???? Did you take them to court? If so, did you win??? I think they should of refunded your money back considering they probably rented your apartment shortly after you vacated so they were probably collecting rent on your apartment twice. which is total BS.

This comment is long time coming since I have been busy, busy, busy, but I did get about 90% my money back. They held back money for painting, cleaning, etc. That was fair in all honesty. I guess I expected my refund overnight and that just doesn't happen . Looking back now, I would recommend Tuscany to anyone looking for a friendly, clean, on top of things maintenance team, quiet place to live. I had a corner apartment just off the pool and jacuzzi and loved it!
