Tuscany Apartments

More than anything, my problems with Tuscany are with the staff. After having a water leak from my dining room light fixture in June 2009 I was told it was "residual IKE water." Only after they replaced the light fixture (because I insisted that a water soaked electrical unit was unsafe)and two leaks later did they actually admit there was a problem. The dishwasher in the apartment above me was draining into the floor. I understand that's an issue with apartment living, but don't sweep things under the rug by saying a current leak is from a weather problem 9 months earlier. Not to mention the MOLD that grows everywhere in the apartment that actually IS from IKE.
Tuscany's Mold Solution: Scratch it off, or paint over it, doesn't matter if it comes back.
The Maintenance people make a huge mess (move your furniture out of the way for them if you value it at all). And the leasing agents are about the biggest flakes I have ever seen. The corporate office (Richdale Group)is just as bad. When I continually got the run around from the on-site management I went above their heads to Melissa at the Richdale Group. After promising she would bring up the subject of a rent credit for me at the next "committee meeting" (considering i've been living with my dining room table in my living room for 2 months, because the leak dripped onto it), she now refuses to take/return my calls.
Not worth the trouble.

I agree with you, the leasing agents are about the biggest flakes I have ever seen. The corporate office (Richdale Group)is just as bad. The office staff are a bunch of coons with brains the size of a pea. I'm still @ Tuscany and this place sucks!! I can't wait to end my contract.
