I was hooked by the sales pitch the management office gave me. They were so nice and helpful as I moved from a house and a divorce into an apartment. As soon as the papers were signed...the helfulness ended. If you try calling, expect to be put on hold or leave a message. You have a 50/50 chance of getting a return call.
My light bills were $300 plus. Had bug problems. Ceiling fans worthless. Dips in floor. Sub-par cabinetry. TV Maxx the ONLY option for cable...it worked 1/3 of the time. They also did the internet which was always problematic. Not a quite complex, loud music and arguing in the evening when people should be sleeping. I heard several gun shots during the evening. Rodeo/circus times...forget getting in and out of the complex. Huge tie ups on the road. Getting in and out of the complex is a joke as there is no visitor gate, so you wait in line out on the street and you live there! The entire year I lived there the entrance/exit into the complex was torn up and caused me numerous trips to the shop for repair on my SUV...no financial assistance from the complex, just shrugged shoulders.
I submitted my move out notice in April for the end of June. At the beginning of June the complex is calling me aking if I'd be willing to move up my date of move out. I'd move out the next day if they'd have cut me a deal. It's August and I'm still getting their water bills. Not paying them as I don't live there....some other unlucky soul does.
There are positives. The name is easy to remember. It's close to Metrorail. That's about it.
