Watch out for Sylvia

For the past several months, Holly Hall has been renovating. The only problem is that they have left it in the hands of the construction company to warn us before they do work, and the company hasn't followed through. It isn't their job anyway, it should be done by management. The ground outside our apartments were painted without forewarning, and I woke up one morning to the sound of a bull dozer crushing cement right beneath my window. When I complained to management about the lack of notice, the main manager, Sylvia, told me she had no time to deal with children (I am 22)'! They then proceeded to fervently lie that they had called our apartment and left a detailed message. Of course they didn't. Lo and behold, 3 days after I complained, I got a notice stuck ever so professionally in my front door about the work they had done the previous weekend, no doubt typical Holly Hall covering their asses.
Townhome a/c bills are horrendous, really really expensive, the apartments are falling apart, the noise is bad, and Management is anything but helpful and friendly. The only thing they have going for them is the brand new gym that took three months to fix instead of the planned 3 weeks. But you need a key to get in, you get one key per apartment, and if you lose it, it'll cost you $200.00. Oh yes, and parking doesn't exist unless you live in the east half. I'm out of here.
I feel bad for the maintenance guys, because they are the only ones that do a good job here.
