2111 Holly Hall Apartments' management is incompetent, unprofessional, and out-right liars. From the property supervisor, who refuses to return any of your calls, to the main manager, who is rude, abrupt, and abrasive, the staff is completely lacking in public relations skills. It's like they've been trained to work in a prison, not in a residence with intelligent professionals.

As for the property, there are insect infestations, frequent water main breaks, and reoccurring electrical outages. Not to mention, all the air vents are connected with all the other apartments in that unit, so if your neighbor smokes or cooks food you'll be able to smell every bit of the odor. You will not be compensated or receive any apologies for water and electrical outages.

If you're lucky enough to get a solution, it will come very slowly and with a lot of persistence on your part. Mostly, however, you will get excuses, passing the buck, and no action (and don't forget the bad attitudes and rudeness)!!! You have to ride their backs and stay on them for everything. Otherwise, your complaints will fall on deaf ears and be swept under the rug to be forever forgotten.

I've had to report them to the City of Houston, the Houston Apartment Association and am in the process of reporting them to the Texas Apartment Association for health hazards. The Texas Attorney General is my next stop, and if I have to file suit, I will!

My point is, DON'T MOVE INTO THIS COMPLEX!!! If you live here, try to get out of your lease ASAP (and without penalty, if possible). If you have problems that management won't properly address, write a letter to management explaining your complaint(s) (make sure it is dated), and file reports with the appropriate associations (HAA, TAA), agencies (Neighborhood Protection, Texas Attorney General), and the City of Houston to make management take action in your favor. Another suggestion is the Better Business Bureau.

what are you talking about? I live here and the only water outage we had was after hurricane ike. you are just looking for a reason to sue. stop putting lies out there just so you can make a quick buck. this site is for people to give an honest review.

To the person who responded that there hasn't been any water outages since IKE, You're terribly mistaken. I moved in earlier this year and experienced water outages, along with electric outages-as a result of the complex, etc. I'm thinking that who ever wrote the comment taking up for this complex, must be an insider, b/c no one in their right mind would or should attack someone for voicing their grievances.

I have lived here for less than 2 months and we've already had 3 water outages. This is ridiculous!!!

I have lived here for about a year and some change and everyone is right about the water and the electricity. We seem to have power surges from time to time and of course the water well that is another book. Since Ike the water I believe as been out twice. LIke all the rest we are moving out to.

The first person is correct. When you see Holly Hall don't run vote the manager Sylvia Hall OUT. It will be a better place to live. I think when there is a problem she needs to address it with a polite attitude. We need a change at Holly Hall. If you are liked by her she will take care of you. I understand somethings are out of your control. Don't be an ass to the resident that is upset. Because their a/c has been out 11 days. When temperature is 90-100. And to put the blame on someone else she says I wasn't aware. Everyone know she is aware of the situation. You wonder why resdents that has been there so long is moving.
