I lived here for a year from August 2008 to August 2009. Management was okay except that they switched management during my stay and paperwork got lost. The amount that I paid for a two bedroom apartment was unbeatable for that area. Once Summer came around, it was so hot and my air conditioning unit couldn't cool my apartment under 80 degrees which was unbearable. Maintenance came at least 4 times but couldn't seem to resolve the issue. I eventually decided to leave because I can't live in a hot apartment and maintenance said it would be like that in any upstairs unit. I did not receive as much money as I should for my refund because they lost copies of my checks but I am still working on getting that back. It is a safe place with mostly students and people who work in the medical center. Close to the train but not close enough when it's 95 degrees outside. Archstone is ideal if you want to ride the train but much more expensive and smaller units. They are upgrading all of the units but with that comes an upgraded price. Walls are thin so don't expect peace and quiet. Overall I would recommend it, there will be issues with any apartment complex.

I think it can be a good place to live. If they get another property manager. Sylvia has been there for years. She likes to talk to people like they are beneath her. If you want to be talk to like a DOG then this is the place to live. Also, many of the units are infested with BED BUGS and ROACHES. Make sure you walk your unit before signing the lease PLEASE. I have a friend that moved in on pet urine carpet and when we spoke with Sylvia. She blamed it on one of the office staff, saying she wasn't aware. That was a lie I personally heard the office staff speak with her. But her reply tell her I will need to get with my supervisor. Then she never get back to you. Sometimes that is the problem companies think their manager is so good but they are the problem. If you ask me make Miss Lucille the manager and this property will be a much better place to live.

I actually agree with Anonymous, Ms. Lucille would make a MUCH BETTER manager; she is a major reason for me moving here; but I'm not renewing my lease-can't wait.
