where do i start' how about the walls are thin that i can hear my neighbors having sex or the always know what room the people above me are in. the roachs are wonderful! the office has exterminated my apartment so many times i am surprised there isnt a hole in the ozone above this place but the roaches are still here- its like haveing a minature dog - ya know sit beside at the dinner table begging for food or crawling on your face at night.
nothing says spells romantic like a candle lit shower the first night you move because the bulbs in your bathroom is burned out and for only $7 the office will replace it''' Or you can go to Wal mart of Lowes to buy them (but neither sale them).
maintenance here is so wonderful also! it only takes 3 short weeks to do anything! its always on order or they are short handed and backed up. and when they finally show up he is a complete jerk and cusses you out. i am surprised that he finds the time to even get to a maintenance request with him always at his apartment almost all day. the apartments are so engery efficient also - your bills will be so cheap beause your air conditioner never is working right. sometimes when you turn it on it blows hot it if blows at all. it only takes an hour of calling to trouble shoot with the office to get someone over to check it. ask yourself when was the last time you changed the filter' then take yourself down to the office get a filter. but waste your time because maintenance has to bring them more but they'll bring one to you but they never do. Then its after dark and they cant do air conditioner work or its not hot enough for it to be an emergency so turn on your fans and open a window.
you will always find a parking spot because if your car isnt stolen it will get towed for something like being to close to the white line or your tags expiring the next morning. or you can get a garage for only $65 and never get to use it because maintenance has your remote and they cant find the key and then they will tell you that your batteries are no good and that wal greens sales them.
uvalde ranch has so much to offer - a beach pool that is always closed, access gates that are always open, sceneic views of trash everywhere, this place is wonderful. i love it here so much that i cant wait until my lease expires!
i felt so welcomed from the first time i came into the office. the manager was has great people skills! she was so professional when she just walked away from when i was still talking. she is always there for her renters, everytime you call or go in there she is: doing reports, or on the phone with her boss, or just ignores you all together makes me fill welcomed! she was so understanding when i called about my water bill being so high - i mean i only reported my cammode running for a month - it only took me calling her main office to get her to call me after they stuck that oh so nice Notice To Vacated on my door - and when finally she called she really took the time to listen to me and assumed that it was my fault that i only reported it at least 4 times to them.
if you like to live like then go a head because these apartments are G to the H to E to double T to the O! GHETTO! if not run like hell dont waste your time money or energy.

I know what you mean about the roaches, I'm starting to see them now as well and the bulbs to I've never had to live in apartments and have to buy everything that it needs. I guess the next step would be a house if I have to take card of everything myself.

The management is responsible for those light bulbs and other things that need to be fixed before you move in, not after. Major work like toilets and refridgerators not cooling they are responsible. Before you move anywhere ask them what are rules I need to know. Take opictures before you move in and sign the lease only after the things have been corrected. All apartments andy where will not guarantee safety. Thats up to the tenants. You all can advise them for a fee per month can we get a patrol. Police are lazy and limited. They are to protect the city. They are slow to respond everywhere in Houston except River Oaks. It seems you may have not done to much research and now want to complain. maintenace people are maintenance people. If you cleaned up dog ---- all day would you be pleasant. I know he applied for the job but sumebody's gotta do it. Apartments don't control water bills unless they are allocated, depending on the scams they run. Get Raid Max in the silver can for the roaches. It may be near woods or a brand new complex. I am not in the management office or live there. I want to move there. I know a thing or two about apartments due to learning form others mistakes and my own. If you want to move when you see prospective tenants leaving catch up with them and ask them if they are interested in takign over your lease or put it in the Greensheet, on Fridays the ads are free. Use your brains people God gave you to help yourselves. Children are bad just because the times have changed and kids are having kids themselves. What do you expect. The apartments are listed as Housing Projects. Be realistic. To each its own. Loud music in apartments will never be controlled. Turn your music up and let them see how it feels. Its childish but they were childish in the first place.
