Within 30 days of my move-in I have had 1 issue after the next. I am always at work and when I get home I have to deal with the following.... Faulty electrical wiring: According the phone company the phone jacks wiring are bad. I will have to pay SBC to fix it (over $100). I am paying for a home phone that I can't use. This is a BIG security issue. Is bad wiring my problem' NO. Light switches are sticky and the lights flicker. Ants: Not from a dirty apartment, but they are under the carpet and along the base board as if they are coming directly from outside. I took a trip to Lowes for ant bait. Refrigerator: Is as old as my mother and has cracked gaskets so the freezer will not keep a popsicle frozen. This can become a health issue as food needs to keep at a proper temperature to prevent it from perishing. I have called the office twice and also went into the office. 1 week later .No results. Living here is the only way I can save more money for a house. I never thought it would be so hard (living here).

I will keep you posted.. that is just 25% of the problems here.

I very much appreciate honest and truthful feedback from our residents and pride ourselves on the level of customer service that we offer for our residents. At Venterra, resident satisfaction is our main objective. We have implemented several programs to secure our residents' happiness. We have a 48 hour Service Guarantee which states that all work orders will be responded to or repaired within 48 hours. We have not defaulted on our guarantee. Extermination is a complimentary weekly service for our residents; all we ask is that you alert us of any pests and we will schedule extermination as often as needed. Unfortunately, according to your post I can understand your frustration; however we only provide one working phone line in each apartment home any additional is at your cost. I sincerely want my residents to have the best experience possible while living here at The Vanderbilt and will continue to work with you. Thank you.
