I have lived here for two years now, but I am regrettably moving to Dallas for work. Ventana has proven to be an exceptional community: the building is pristine, the office staff has largely been helpful, and maintenance (when they are needed, which is rare) does a good job and is very quick. The rent is an unbelievably good value. The other Midtown apartments may offer a slightly better location, but rent is exorbitant, and the units are small and cheap. Ventana's units, on the other hand are huge, well-appointed, and remarkably affordable. Anyone living in Houston should live at Ventana.

The only drawback is if you live on the Fannin St. side, you are likely to hear fire trucks racing towards the Museum District a few times a week.
