My wife and I have lived here four months now and have had NO problems. The apartment we got was just as nice as the model, which has never happened before. The grounds are well taken care of, and the maintenance crew is way friendlier than you would expect. The ladies at the front office are always happy to help. I have yet to need anything fixed, but I'm sure that if it's like the rest of the complex it'll be done quickly and adequately. The fitness center is clean, doesn't smell, and is usually open. The office is great because I don't have to pay for internet access, I just use theirs (but there's no way to download). I have had no notice of this "crime" issue some other whiners have talked about, and the only time I hear noise is when someone from an upper level apt. is coming down the stairs outside my wall. I even live on the side facing thugville, and we still sleep through the night without a problem. The occasional car alarms are annoying, but find a complex without that issue.
Whatever the hell happened to you crybabies, I'm glad it did. It got your asses out of the complex.

you, sir, (i use that term loosely) are an utter moron. i think even the non-whiners of the group could agree on that. the problems that arose at Verandas were not of the readily apparent variety. i liken them to a sort of chinese water torture. they would build and aggrivate over time...and by the end of your lease, or turture session if u will, the unfortunate victim is litteraly running and screaming to get away. good luck in your over priced, undersized, revolving door of managers having, loud obnixious "luxury" westheimer location, wanna be snooty (yet really quite ghetto) apartment. people such as yourself are what make me happy im gone (well that and about 1000 other reasons!
oh and you may want to look up mr timetolearn. sounds like you two guys are made for each other!

you are not a moron because you dont complain. your a moron because of the title of your post and the fact that you consider anyone who has an honest greivance with the place you live a "whiner" i have no personal adgenda against Verandas. i simply have had experience with living there...and quite a few valid complaints which i have stated. isnt that what this site if for? im SO very sorry if i offended you...okay thats a lie...in truth my attitude as of this post is screw you and the horse you rode in on. good day, jerkoff

It's funny you keep spending time around this site, posting replys to any message that speaks positive regarding the Verandas. You are gone, we are not--get over it. Move out of Houston, read paperwork before you agree to anything, and stay on crack, because if all that happens you will be living in your own perfect world. I for one am glad Verandas did whatever they did to you, because you are gone. Now go find a job and quit replying here. (we all know you can't stop, as will soon be listed below).
