After living here for all of a month, For the second time this week I have NO HOT WATER.The maintenence guy(s) and manager will never call you back or show up if its after hours. The first time 2 days ago when my hot water suddenly quit working I called the after hours answering service and after calling 20 plus times they finally told me that since the apartment was under new management they didn't have maintenece people at the moment! Who does that!!! Then 2 days later which is today I again have no hot water, I have called the answering service numerous times for the last 6 hours and of course no one has come or called to at least say they can't fix it right now. Like the others have said the potholes here in the complex are more like asteroid crater holes so dont "accidentally" hit one or you might need a new car. Overall I am suppsed to be here for another 11 months, but if this keeps happeneing I don't forsee myself living here for that much longer. For those of you who are thinking about living here, I wouldn't recommend it. I only wish I had known about their lack of maintenence before I signed my lease.

Vanessa B, I wonder if you live in the same building in live in or was this all over the complex because, I too had no hot water. When you wake up in the morning to get ready for work, and can't shower, it's a problem, an inconvience. The potholes are horrendous. I definetely agree with your view as a new renter at Victoria Place. But as a resident of over 5 years, it's even worse. When Victoria Place was under Lincoln Property, the grounds were beautiful, the parking lots were clean and without holes, the water worked, maintenance was constantly seen on the grounds doing something, helping, cleaning, fixing. When the complex began to change hands that is when it went downhill. We started getting eviction notices, horrible service if any because they fired our dedicated maintenance workers. We knew them by name and you could see them outside and ask them to come change a lightbulb and they would without question. Henry was such a sweetheart, even when the new company fired him, he still came back to check on the older residents. This new leasing company surely needs to step up. |
