Well I have been living here for a long time. In the beginning it was heaven, we had a security officer at night, personal trainer, popcorn machine, social nights, tredmills that worked, gates that were closed,24hr. answering service for emergency, plenty of parking, and a wonderful management team. Well it all changed and we lost everything. At 10 a.m. until the morning hours there are cars with loud booming music systems just parked. If you don't get here at 7 or 8 p.m. forget about parking near your apartment building, one apartment has about 5 cars to themselves. There is no video monitor throughtout the building, b/c people have broken glass at the bottom of the pool. Young kids are just walking in from the mall throughtout the complex b/c the security here doesn't work. They drink outside, they have there apartment doors open and have their loud music blasting. I have reported these insidements with the apartment personel and the police, and no one cares. You can call the number but no one picks up to help you out. We pay 1000.00 for a two bedroom apartment and its beautiful, but you can hear the people on the other side making love, fighting, causing at 3 a.m. I asked the office perosonel to repair the air system and they told me that it would be a couple of days until it could be repaired, so I took of to be here, and when I called the office, they stated that they didn't have time today but maybe in a couple of days. The population of New Orleans people have tripled here, and they have destroyed everything around them. The clubhouse is a mess. They bring to live with them there entire family in a one to two bedroom. I loved it here, but things have gotten worse and will continue to do so. There are vacant apartments for a reason. There are other better apartments to look at then this one. Don't move here unless you like to be awaken at early hours with loud music that won't stop. Please choose wisely where you life for the safety of your family and yourself.

I have to agree with the state of the place, unfortunately i have only lived here for a few onths and didt get to experience when it was really nice. I hardly get any sleep, i think the people above me hold wrestling matches in the middle of the night. Horrible neighbors.

I think that's awful. There is no way tenants should live in such conditions...especially if you, not the government...is paying your rent. That sucks. Who manages that property?

First of all, Villas at West Oaks does not except voutures so if someone comes from Louisiana and is qualified on the same terms as everyone else they are allowed to live here. The office can not help it if someone is approved and is "ghetto"!! They qualify people on credit, criminal and income, not on race or their personality per fair housing!!! Good luck finding a place in Houston that doesn't have any crime or approved morons living on property.
