I can honestly say that a majority of these reviews are lies. I've been living here for 2 years and have NEVER heard not one gunshot (so that was a lie) - I live facing the parking lot and have NEVER had a problem with loud music (so that was also a lie) - I volunteered everyday at the Astrodome and refuse to judge an entire group of people by the actions of a few. So, I guess all ------ are uneducated crack head monkeys and all whites are marching around burning crosses and smell like bologna ... stereotypes! Houston definitely had their issues before Hurricane Katrina and will after. Anyway, its not like when or if ever there is a crime on the property the person leaves a note that says "I tried to steal your rims and I'm from New Orleans." Stop always pointing your finger before someone from HOUSTON cuts it off for you. And for the record, I'm from Houston. The Villas are a beautiful property. If you don't like the office staff ... stay out of the office! Pay your rent through the rent slot. They've always been very fast on maintenance, so no complaint there either. The only thing I agree with is the rent increase at the end of your lease. I, too, am moving at the end of my lease for that reason and that reason ONLY. THAT is an easy way to lose good residents.
