I have lived at this apartment complex since June 2007. I have just signed another 1 year lease renewal. I too, have had my issues with the maintenance here at times as other people have said, however, that has been the very worst issue I can think of. The office staff has always been very friendly and cheerful. The people here are nice and friendly. It's like living in a little neighborhood. You always see people out and about with their kids and dogs. The general area does have a bit of crime, however I am not worried in this apartment complex. Crime is all over Houston, but I know that at least here, when something happens, all the neighbors will run to your aid. The police are very active in the area and are always very nearby. I have called the police several times to respond on behalf of myself or neighbors and they always respond very quickly here. I have never had anything bad happen to me as long as I have lived here. If you are warm and friendly and not all paranoid, this is one of those places where you can go ask a neighbor for a cup of sugar. I have seen the other apartment complexes in the area and this one is by FAR better.

You must really like party people or you could possible be one yourself. The Management is not as friendly as you think they are. I didn't sign a lease and they will not return the monies that I paid them. So as far as that complex goes - it's horrible. Alcoholics, beer cans and unkept property - you can have it. All I want from that place is my MONEY BACK.

I am for sure not a partyer, but I would much rather kick back and enjoy life than be ----. If I ever buy a house, it certainly won't be where a home owner's association has control of the neighborhood. I get the impression that the people who would have the most issues with this complex are the kinds that just love to call management every day with an issue and complain, complain, complain. If you want an upscale neighborhood, you have to fork out the money to go live in one. If you want to chill out, BBQ with the neighbors, and associate with people that aren't hiding behind their windows with their noses in your business playing 5-year old snitching games on you, come here. Gotta hate neighbors that go LOOKING for something you are doing to complain to management about! Those kinds of people flee this complex like it's on fire, thank god.
