Maintenance requests do take a long time (don't make too many though or you'll be seen as a troublemaker). A neighbor has lived here for 10 years, and the manager is still waiting approval to repair a broken ice maker (I requested replacement of kitchen floerescent lights a month ago, and still no completion of request). The appliances are around 10 years old with the ac units around 20 years old (my unit's ac had been replaced as it finally completely gave out in august). At least the two bedroom is better than the one bedroom. When initially moved in, downstairs neighbors held "house warming" parties every weekend from 1-2 a.m. It's a little quieter now as there are more and more vacant units in the complex. Did I mention the awful colors the entire complex was repainted two years ago as opposed to providing new appliances to residents. Additionally, tepid water available year round...if you want a hot shower, you're out of luck. Office is so ridiculously inept at handling tenants who harass others (remember the people who held parties every night for 3 months') There are laundry facilities on site, but certain units do not work. The exercise room is full of equipment that is inoperable. Same neighbor lived her for 10 years without repair of a basic item had been assaulted the other week, while coming home from Halloween party, and again a few weeks prior while walking to mailbox.
