The staff as in any property are here to "Sell You" on living here. I am sad to report that the last remaining original employee of this property since its opening is leaving. Mauricio the Maintenance Engineer has resigned. After the last 9-10 months of mess here I can't say I blame him. Corporate really screwed up when they came in here and changed management back then. It wasn't broke it didn't need fixing. They sent someone here for about 60 days from LA to oversee things and get a new manager hired but in the meantime they lowered standards greatly to "fill the occupancy rate". Now the results of that are being revealed. The gates stay broke due to vandals. The pool area stays trashed. There is no longer a towing service to call when someone parks in the driveway of your garage when they feel they have no where else to park and block you in. Residents pay a minimum of $100 a month for that garage and driveway in front of it. Some pay $125 and others pay $150. Depending on which size garage they have. But other residents who don't have a garage or pay for it have no since of respect for those who do. And those who don't have parking they pay for have to walk a great distance to their apartment because of poor engineering/planning when this property was built. The buildings are poorly insulated and residents moving in have no respect for their neighbors, playing stereos and movies with their surround sound turned up for everyone to hear at all hours of the night. Leaving their unsightly trash where ever they feel like it. I suggest with any property you are considering. Drive through on different days and times. Take the time to really look at the property. Is there trash piled up at the compactor' Are the blinds tore up on any of the windows' Is there foil covering any windows that management hasn't noticed' Are there any vehicles parked on property with flat tires or that have grease spots under them' Obviously not being driven again that management hasn't noticed and done anything about. Walk into the courtyards that aren't visible to the office or front entrances. Do they have knee high grass or weeds that management lets go because no one "Looking to move in" will notice. There are many more but these are ALL RED FLAGS that management justs wants you in to make the numbers and then you are stuck for 6,9,12 or 13 months of pure frustration. Other words make sure you come into Watermarke with open eyes because like everywhere else its not perfect.....

I agree, the new manager should be fired. She's useless and rude.

Can anyone tell me if they feel safe living here? What is the crime rating there? I live in apartments right now where I don't feel safe. There has been cars broken into lately. I know that happens everywhere, but how is it there? I have been looking into a lot of apartments in the area and there is a lot going on with car break ins and apartment break ins. What has this area come to? I hope there are still some safe apartments out there. Can anyone shed light?
