I'm relocating to another area of the greater Houston and am looking for housing. While looking at reviews I thought I'd pull up my current home just to look. I know now I need to not take all these reviews to heart. I love my apartment, the location and everything. I use the computer lab a lot and so I talk to the staff often and have never had problems with them. The parking doesn't get crazy around my building it may in other areas and I just don't know it. The trash yes gets piled up sometimes but if people wouldn't be lazy then that wouldn't be a problem. And I've seen the maintenance cleaning it up. Sometimes there's only so much that can be done and people need to realize that they're living in an apartment community not a house. I have enjoyed it and hate to leave. If it wasn't for work I wouldn't. And Watermarke is MUCH nicer than a lot I'm looking at in the area i'm relocating to.

Glad you had a good experience, up to now, but you should not criticize other resident's opinions, just because half of us had a different experience from yours. When most of us look for a place to live, we want to know about the bad as well as the good. Who can better tell others about real problems than someone who has lived there? Management sure won't. Also, some apartment staff plant rosy 'reviews' on these types of sites, so don't take those to heart either.
It would be most helpful if you later share how Watermarke management treated you, and your deposit, after you left.

bulldawgchemist- how or why do you feel that someone was being criticized. The poster merely gave their opinion and stated that he/she knows now not to take reviews to heart. Everyone will always have different experiences and if you read closely, he or she did respond about their interactions with management. The individual stated that they talk to the staff often and has never had problems with them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and cleary that it was this poster did.
