I have lived at Westbrook for the past 3 years. Yes, the original manager (Jennifer) was very impersonal and rude all the time (that is if she returned your calls). The leasing agent back then (Stephanie) was much more helpful. Then, after I lived here for about a year they changed management. New manager, Rita, is OK but again not overly friendly. However, she does return calls and gets things done when you submit requests. They had a short term or temp assistant in there for a few months back in 07 who was EXTREMELY rude and lacked knowledge; to say the least. Now, Sherrell is the leasing agent/assistant manager as she has always been very pleasant and helpful upon the numerous times I have called on her over the last year.

As noted before, this is a tight knit community that is keep clean and the grounds are nice, not a 5 star resort, but consistently groomed landscaping with a modest pool area. The maintenance and porter crew are great!!! Requests completed in a timely manner and always helpful; even if I am just carrying heavy trash out to the dumpster (although they so have trash PU on M-W-F).

I would have to somewhat agree with the comments on the multiple children I have run into on the past couple years. Although I don't mind living around children, it is aggravating when their parents let them run around like wild dogs with absolutely no supervision and they are doing questionable acts around the property; that is a problem. However, I have not seen those children or group of children in a couple months. I am renewing my lease for the 3rd time and it is mainly due to the quaint size of the property, the friendly career minded neighbors, and overall management of the property. It is a nice place to call home.
