We moved here 12 months ago. We did not have time to look for an apartment. So, we had a real estate agent help us. Now, we have owned 3 homes prier to relocating here for my husband s job. We never intended on staying long term.
We, unlike a lot of people prayed for our safety and the roof over our heads and our community.
Yes, there is some real problems here just like other places, you may not know about.
I had a hard time adjusting to living in an apartment period! Then dealing with some of the people we saw. First the people that moved in next to us were dealing drugs in plain view, I put this before the Lord and less then a month they where gone. We have called the cops about a bag of weed we found in our hallway, they were upset that we called. I explained we are from a small well to do town up north, and we were just not use to this.

I use to keep the windows open before I became city wise (and tried of the dog being HIGH) about the people around us. We lived under some of the most disrespectful people who would not control their kids. The office was no help, no matter how often we called. We have found drugs all over the grounds hidden, so we stop letting the kids walk the dog. I felt like I was the only tenet cleaning my dog droppings. That was just lazy.

But no matter what, we where blessed to be here. No one was hurt, robbed or afraid.

I do consider it a blessing my kids have always lived upper middle class and I don't think this Place has harmed them any more then television. I just talked with, them and reminded them this was not the last stop for us.

The apartment I had in college would chase away the roaches here, so count you re blessing or just move. Haven't you looked in the parking lot lately' I can't remember any lazy out of work people driving some of the cars in this parking lot.

This was our home for 12 months not the top of the line and not the last but I lived there. And I was with my family.
NO We Do Not Want To Live In Another Apartment, but let the Lords will be done first.

I'm considering renting here. I looked at the place and it seemed nice and the price was fair. After reading your review I am not sure I would be safe here. I know that no place is safe, but you want at least a little piece of mind. Roaches!! The mere mention of them is a turn-off and yes there are ROACH-FREE Apartments out there. Poop all over the place, funny I didn't see that when I toured the grounds-sounds scary and worse just plain unhealthy. I think I may have to lose my deposit fee and look further. Good thing I haven't signed a lease yet!
