My goodness! Are you just grouchy or what? I wrote the previous review and the night that my guests' car was broken into was a night where THE GATES WERE CLOSED!
You live in a city, and please believe if someone wants to steal your car they can find ways to get into a closed gate! HELLO! They can follow a car that is already going into the gate. My goodness people lets get real, you live in Houston, in an area that is not the safest (we're not out in the Woodlands and THEY have crime too!).

There have been flowers and a mail slot for rent for years. The gates have sensors that don't allow them to close on a car...or the car behind them. If they actually would close on a car, that would be a legal issue. There was an accident last month when my mother-in-law's car brakes failed as she was leaving. Her car hit the gate at a higher rate of speed than normal and it broke the gate and some of her car. It seems that some of what you said is totally made up. However, it isn't in a great area and maintenance is an issue, as is security.

Ok Sweeter, I'm going to take up for you and add some other information about the safety at Western Ridge. The 2 previous people obviously work for the complex or they are oblivious. You two "anonymous" people are the liars here. A girl who lives by me had a break in last month and her door is still not secure. They have been fiddle ------- around and haven't been in any hurry to repair her door. My wheels were stolen in May and I informed the old manager, Kim, of her LEGAL obligation to inform the residents. We all received letters with in a week stating the crime issues. Shame on the two of you for acting like this person is lying! This complex is crap and I wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE! It isn't safe. A retired couple who also use to live by me was assaulted in the early evening while walking their two dogs and the dogs were stolen from them. I think all of these are reasons enough not to live here. And before either of you idiots even thinks of telling me that I am lying, call the police department or better yet, you can go the city of Houston crime stats webpage and see all the reports that were filled for this complex. Numerous burglaries, assaults and auto thefts. Those are obviously not made up.
