The complex is good for someone on a budget. I also had to move from out of state without viewing and it was suitable for me. There were no bug problems. Hot water was never a problem, but the showers are very noisy. You will tell when your neighbor is showering. They repainted the complex last year, but curbside appeal is still low. The way the apartments are located, people can see inside your apartments if the blinds are open. The management is nice enough. The insides of the apartments are relatively new. Free cable, W&D, and fitness center is true. They also offer specials on rent and security deposits (I had $60/ mo off rent and no deposit).
Negatives for me: this was not close to the thruways and made my commute quite long. Halfway through the year some very noisy neighbors moved in across from me, until then it was really quiet.
