Please, do not move her if you have children or a baby... the living conditions are unexceptable. Here is an email we wrote to corporate and are still waiting a response. We didnt even mention half the other problems, like the water temp always changing in the shower because we are so used to the "little problems".
Heres our story!!!
***I am writing this email in regards to our apartment complex, the Woodside Village, located on 2400 Hackett Dr, Houston TX 77008. We have exhausted all our options in regards to getting any sort of response from our building's management, so we have resorted to contacting you. My husband and I moved into this complex in April of 2007. The day we moved in the leasing consultant informed us there was a hole in the roof of one of our bedrooms that was leaking rain water and another one in our dining room. She promised us that the holes would be repaired within the week. Also she informed us that they had not received the new bathtub yet, but they would come replace the old one once it arrived. Six month later we still have not received our new bathtub. The two holes were repaired that week, however three weeks later the hole in the dining room re-opened and grew even bigger. The hole was leaking and proceeded to get our furniture all wet due to the heavy rains we experienced that month. My husband called the office to report the problem on May 25th 2007. We were told they wouldn't be able to fix it until after the Memorial Day weekend. Over the Memorial day weekend another hole developed in our upstairs bathroom, again leaking in rain water. On May 31st 2007 I called and spoke with Damion Valentine, a leasing consultant, and he advised me they would send someone to fix the problem as soon as possible. Then my husband called again on June 18th 2007 and asked to speak with a manager because no action had been taken. He spoke with Melissa, the apartment manager, and she explained it was taking so long due to the roofing contractors, but promised it would be resolved within the week. We called again June 26th, because nothing had been fixed, and spoke with Damion, who said Melissa was out of the office but he would give her the message. I was 9 months pregnant at the time and had my son July 2nd, so we were unable to follow up with Melissa, but when we retuned home we noticed again, nothing had been fixed. My husband went into the leasing office July 9th 2007 to talk to Melissa in person. By this time now we had a new problem, our toilet upstairs was not working, she did send a maintenance man right over and he explained the toilet was old and needed to be replaced. He said he would order another one and replace it by that Friday, July 12th 2007. We are still waiting for that toilet. After speaking with Melissa, she informed us they would fix the roof that week, and it was. However no one has patched up our holes in the ceiling and there is mold in both holes from all the water damage. The whole in our dining room is 3 feet long, not only is it unsightly, but also dangerous. We called and spoke with Melissa numerous times in August, she kept telling us everything would get fixed. We even tracked down the maintenance worker for the property but he said he was totally unaware of our requests! On August 13th we went down to the office again and the leasing consultant, Damion Valentine, told us Melissa was not there but that he was instructed to write down everything we needed fixed and it would be done within that week. Nothing has been fixed and it is now October 4th.
As of today here is the list of outstanding issues we have with Woodside Village; we have two holes in our ceiling, which have developed mold, an old bathtub used by previous tenants, a broken toilet upstairs, a loose electrical fixture where our washer and dryer is plugged into, we actually had someone outside of Woodside Village maintenance come look at it and they advised us it was a huge fire hazard, and a serious ant infestation problem. We also had a problem with mice, we had spotted them in our kitchen, but we took that problem into out own hands seeing as how the previous maintenance request were never handled

Corporate will not respond to emails or phone calls in my experience. You have to send a certified letter to them. The Management company is Pinnacle Management but the owners of the property are Wentwood Woodside I, L.P. --- visit this web site http://vlex.com/vid/19555812
