I lived at another much cheaper complex, Westcreek, for 8 yrs w/ few complaints so I think i am easy going and can take a lot. Woodway didn't live up to its price. All the negatives said in the other reviews were also my experience. All the amenities are nice only if you use them. If you don't have a pet, don't use the exercise room or the pool area, you're paying more than you should. Here's the deal: If you live on 1st floor, it will sound like a bowling alley above- my ceiling chandelier fixtures rattled it shook so bad. My unit also flooded (it was a common story) from a water heater leak above- no one apologized, no compensation, they acted like it was no big deal. It must be a manufacturer problem that is addressed only after the flood happens. My a/c thermostat never functioned right-the a/c ran and ran. My complaints were answered w/ a check on the coolant but not replacing the thermostat; the unit in the ceiling dripped water into the laundry all the time. One bedroom never cooled well. One bathroom had poor water pressure in all fixtures and the toilet constantly wouldn't flush. Had to buy a plunger. The only trash dump was at the other end of the complex. For first time in apt living life, i had management lie to my face, saying they would refund a deposit that after 3 months i gave up on after repeated conversations. Gates break, cars sometimes get broken into, rent goes up every time. All of this is nothing new for an apt but not for the price they want. You can get this quality for much less at a dump like Westcreek.
