I lived there for a year and a half and the same thing happened to me with the deposit. They took the whole thing and then charged me $87 for cleaning and they said I had all this stuff left in my room that I took out before the move out date. The only reason I paid is because they threatened me with legal mumbo-jumbo and I didn't have the money to fight it. If you move out...take pictures...and have someone walk through the apt. with you!

Also, sometimes they are extra friendly in the office and sometimes they have a bad attitude...they were nice before I moved in though. Since they know a bunch of college kids live there, I guess they just try to take advantage of it, knowing we are less likely to be able to fight back. The prices for one bedrooms are definately too high...I don't think any of the bdrms are worth it though, considering the square footage. So what...they have ONE tanning bed...sometimes you have to wait in a long line to use it...sometimes you don't...just depends.

Also they make no adjustments or cut you any slack for ANYTHING...they charged me $30 because they apparently went through the trash and found something with my name on it. You can put your trash at the bottom of the stairs on trash days, and if you do it on a non trash day, they will fine you for it. I guess my roomate took out the trash the wrong day or something...I don't know.

Another thing that reeaaly made me mad is that I was living in a 2 bedroom and I was waiting to switch to a 3 bedroom. They wouldn't hold one for me at all until I signed the lease. I was trying to make sure that I should move into the 3 bedroom bc I didn't want to sign a year lease...I really needed a 6 month lease, but they won't make ANY exceptions.

I always paid everything on time, but that's not enough for the Arbors, they want to take every penny you have...it is robbery and I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here!
