My experience at Arbors was simply adequate, yet I lived there twice under two different leases (2002-2003, 2004-2006). Heck, I even lived in the same building.

Management goes through good and bad phases, as does the maintenance staff.

I had a very, VERY loud upstairs neighbor on my first lease, and could barely stand the noise. On my second lease, we barely heard a single footstep.

The main problem with noise is the mere fact that Huntsville is a college town. Therefore, Arbors attracts a bunch of loud drunks, and not even the fun kind of loud drunks. Do NOT live anywhere near the pool, basketball court, or volleyball court.

The fitness center went from above average for Huntsville to total trash when they added the punching bag. This brought in a very "different" crowd. No more girls and guys just wanting to get in shape; now you had a bunch of guys that were half drunk and just wanted to show how hard they are by hitting on the bag.

The hot tub is gross. Stay away. If you drop by in the morning, expect used condoms, as a review below states. Also, broken beer bottles everywhere around the pools.

The trash situation is probably the worst of any complex at which I've lived. They have these dumpsters outside some of the buildings, but not nearly enough of them, so residents just leave it wherever they want.

Also expect to pay way too much here, given that most of the apartments in town are much, much worse than Arbors.

Sadly enough, I would live at Arbors again if I had to move back to Huntsville.
