Years at this apartment: 2008-01-01 - 2009-01-01
I lived there for a year in a 1 bedroom.
It was nice.
Pretty far from the school, but I had no problems with that.
The Landlady is extremely nice and understanding.
The pool is way too small.
It is in a quiet neighborhood unless you have an apartment right on Normal Park.
Then you can hear every car that passes, and there are a lot of diesel trucks and people who like to rev their cars loud.
They spray every three months for bugs.
Make sure you keep your kitchen clean though.
The apartment is 20 years old and is noticeably needing a renovation.
Because of this ants get into the kitchen pretty easily! The walls aren't too thin, but I can hear my neighbor every time he rushes down his stairs and when he is shouting or yelling.
Maintenance is shared between their sister complex and so they are understaffed.
You might have to ask them twice to get something done.
In my experience, they do the easy quick fix rather than spending just a little bit more and fixing the problem all the way.
I believe they have the most storage space out of all the apartments.
All they include is extended cable.
You have to pay electric (which can get pretty pricey since it is a townhome.
Highest $130; lowest $40.
I conserve electricity very well.) DSL internet is roughly $35.
Trash/sewage/water is roughly $50.
Unless you live in the building I lived in you will have a small patio area.
I didn't have a fence at all and didn't like the idea someone could walk off of the street and see into my kitchen/dining area/living room.
