I have lived in 3 places in Huntsville. The best has been Rolling Brook. I was so comfortable there... it was home! I lived with my boyfriend in the large one bedroom and we loved the fireplace and all of the cabinet and counter space. I only needed maintenance once and they were very prompt. My two cats used to love sitting out on the balcony. (they're inside cats, so that was freedom to them) I felt very safe at RB. At other apts, I've been afraid to walk to/from my car at night. The parking lot was well-lit from my standards. I never even locked the extra lock they have, only the deadbolt. At the other apts I lived at, I locked every lock they gave me! It was mostly quiet, occasionally you could hear music int he distance. The walls weren't paper thin, either! The paint on the buildings needed a fresh coat, but the grounds were kept nice. When I left, I got my whole deposit back, even though I left some deep scratches on the counter and a few stains on the carpet. Pet deposit was required, but not pet rent. I hate when apts make yu pay a pet rent.. that's so dumb. The laundry room was very private. It ad great machines and instead of having to deal with so much change, you put your money onto a laundry card and used it instead, very cool. I am looking forward to moving back to Huntsville and back to RB! By the way, Nova was always the sweetest... I miss all of the contests they had, too. It was just an awesome place to live. It didn't hurt that expanded cable was included in with the rent. $540 for a 740 sq ft apt with a fireplace great place!! will move back asap!
