WE LIVED AT ASPEN SQUARE AND IT IS NOISY WITH ALOT OF SMALL CHILDREN,MY SON WAS HIT IN THE PARKING LOT BY A CAR BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY PLACE THEY CAN RIDE THEIR BIKES. AND WE LIVED THERE FOR 3 MONTHS AND LEFT BECAUSE WE COULD NOT GET OUR HEAT FIXED..THEY GAVE US A PORTABLE HEATER FOR 3 NIGHTS AND WANTED US TO SLEEP WITH THE GAS ON..I ALSO HAVE KIDS..MY HEATER WORKED 3 DAYS OUT OF THOSE THREE MONTHS..AND THEY GOT MAD EVERYTIME I ASKED TO HAVE IT FIXED...THERE IS NO HANDICAPP RAMPS TO GET INTO THE APARTMENTS..I AM HANDICAPP AND KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE..VANDALISM AND DRUG BEING SOLD OUT OF THE COMPLEX TO..AND DONT DARE TO SAY ANYTHING TO MANAGEMENT CAUSE IT DOESNT MATTER..

i know hun..im here right now.. ihave small children..we r always harrassed . my baby things get stolen..management thought they were grounding my youngin from being outside but i handled that w. the quickness..the crack and drugs round here is non stop..i too have complained of it..they did nothing..hell they hang w. the druggies alot..makes me wonder why they get so offensive..i have had my share of rounds w. management here..and they are bewst if they keep their distance from me and mine..cuz i know my rights as a tenant and i know the law in general.im glad u got outta this dump..when something round is here messed up ..even if u tell them right b4 u move in that its messed up..they want u to pay for all the cost..we have no heat nor air right now..the noise round here is awful..management is awful..and 95 percent of the ppl here are troublesome..and cuz much drama..cops are always here..i call them alot cuz i have much trouble w. the druggies round here..and my neighbors..they have been out here 8 times in one month and my neighbors have only been here one month..this place needs to be shut down..its not well kept at all..my children are very unsafe round here..ppl being killed..drugs being done..sold..and bought..consdtant ifghting..it never ends it goes in on on..babies get beat round here..out in the open..its crazy..wheres enforcement when its needed..there is now a handicapp parking space but barbra parks in it..her and booyfriend use the handicapp parking..barbra is part of management round here as well as nancy and niether of them do right..they r spiteful and 2 facing rude. and lets not forget the court yet is not at kept up..broken beer bottles trash..u name it aspen square has got it..its a dump and a living hell..hell and even mangagement round here is loud..they sit on their amps and guitar and play and play and have no concern for anyone else why they are sleeping

Nothing has changed at Aspen Square in many many years. I doubt it ever will ! If it is deemed sub standard now ...what the hell was it back then or even 10 years ago ? Makes you wonder where all of our tax dollars go ? These properties are supposed to have a full unit to unit inspection every time the property is sold or changes hands. It makes me wonder who is really responsable for it being in the state it is in ? That mold has been growing in there for ages. They wont test the mold and air quality, because it would cost them a fortune to have it remmediated by professionals. The city wont condem it because it would cost them a fortune for them to properly abate it ( buldoze it ) The EPA would mandate the proper disposal of it because it is a health hazard. Humm ... I can't understand why there hasn't been a class action toxic tort claim filed against the complex ?

My dad lived there over 30 years ago and worked at Bell across the street. We went there every summer to visit him. It was relatively new then, air conditioning was ice cold I remember that. My dad helped clean the pool and mowed the lawn. I am sorry to hear that it has gone down the drain with drugs. We played outside all the time and never worried. We used to sit on the wall in front of the place (is it still there?) and watch the helicopters land and play in the canal down the street.
