Well what can I say, run and don't ever come back this looks like a decent place to live at the start but just wait till you move in here ( oh I can't wait till my lease is up). The roaches have moved in so bad that they need to start paying my rent and I am serious, yes the management knows about it and the pest control has even come out but they don't do anything about it at all and unless you like sleeping and eating with roaches then this is the place for you. They are slow to come out and fix maintenance issue in your home. The security sucks they don't know how to talk to people all they want to do is take your money if you ask me they are on the verge of being slum lords you can't jusge a book by it's cover so please listen to the reviews they are all true and you can bet the next place I move to I will do my homework on

Oh Lord! I lived at Valley Oaks in 2004-2005. My apt was broken into when I lived upstairs, so mgmt moved me to another building also upstairs. It took all day to move in and by nightfall, here come the roaches out of the woodwork...I mean they were EVERYWHERE! I had to sleep sitting up on the couch with one eye open! So freakin disgusting! When I told mgmnt that my white walls were brown from the creepy crawling roaches, they handed me a freakin box of two "roach motels" from Raid. What a joke! You might as well put a bandaid on a gunshot wound. I put up with it for about a week, before I threatened to break my lease. They finally moved me....AGAIN...to a downstairs in another building. Well, I might as well have just co-habitated with the roaches, because then I had a stalker. This place is FULL of drug addict losers! There was a guy that would sit on the hood of my car every morning, and peep in my windows at night. One day, I came home and went out on my patio to find a sleeping bag and a cooler with drinks and food. This guy had been living on MY patio!!!!!! I filed a police report, and told mgmt. They didn't do a DANG thing about it, so I finally broke my lease...my safety being compromised is the LAST STRAW! I am surprised that the guy didn't rape, disembowel and dismember me in the bathtub. SOOO glad that I don't live there anymore. If you are a single girl, NOT the place for you. If you have all of your teeth and care about whether or not you stink, ALSO not the place for you. UGHHHH. Screw Valley Oaks!
