We had a 3bdr/2 bth apt and our roommate moved out so we switched to a 2bdr/2bth..the first one they tried to give us had black mold. the second had severely nasty everything but we tried to make due (i'm a martha stewert type of girl so usally i can make anything liveable) but they screwed us on the electric bill. the people downstairs had 5 occupants in a tiny apartment with at least 5 t.v.'s on continuously and every electronic anything you could imagine and they paid $100 a month for electric and my husband, young son and i hardly ran anything trying to make ends meet and were charged $300 a month for electricity. we broke the lease because we ended up in debt due to borrowing money. also the oven never worked and the maintenence man told me it did and didn't even check it! after we moved, they tried to send us a bill for everything that i had written that was wrong with the apartment on the move-in list. they tarnished our credit forever telling everyone that does credit checks that we were deadbeats and never paid rent on time when in fact if annything i paid it early. these people are twisted and sick. don't move in here to save your life! not to mention i found dried splattered blood in the closets and on light fixtures. and the day we were moving in, our apartment door had been kicked in.
