But a little thought into where you chose to make your home!

I am not here to bash the apartment! While my move out wasn't everything it could have been, I feel comfortable in the fact that issues can be escalated and the community manager takes her job seriously! ( I do, however, doubt the abilities of the assistant manager!)
The pool is a very nice area. The office is very nice! Most apartment communities have 1 or 2 computers and you wait forever to use it in the business center! Amli has 5 or 6 (I honestly can't remember exactly). The fitness area is up to date and convenient! The apartment tries to help with safety by using key fobs and addressing the issues such as mail box break ins, robberies, & car break ins. I never felt as if I was unaware of things. The apartment complex is less than 5 miles from the police station! Parking can be difficult if you live at the front of the complex. Especially if you live in the building by the pool, summer traffic is harsh! Andrew, the maintenance supervisor went out of his way more than once to help with something in our apartment broke. He even helped once when we saw him at the mail center and was complaining about it being hot in the apartment.
Just remember, this is an apartment, not your dream home forever! Be patient, thorough, and keep ALL correspondence with the staff, you might need it at the end!

Law of the Garbage Truck
One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes,
skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly. So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital! 'This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just
smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets. The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their
day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets,
so...Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!
Have a blessed, garbage-free day!

I have lived here since the community was built. The manager and staff has changed recently but the service has always remained the same. Top notch. I wanted to take time today to write positive notes about this complex as I am moving out next month. I noticed this rare bad review. I can only imagine what the office staff deals with each day with such petty complaints on such ridiculous issues. I have witnessed it numerous times while waiting in the lobby at the office. People complain about hearing neighbors walking above them but chose to live in a downstairs apartment. Welcome to apartment living. I am moving into a home now and am very excited. I have loved Katrina, the Assistant Manager, since the moment she came to my property. She has always been friendly, helpful and has always gone out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I am a retail manager. I deal with customer grievances daily. I get called when my assistant manager doesn't resolve an issue for a customer. Ultimately, each customer just wanted to make sure the "Manager in Charge", me, got the complaint. My assistant, who always handled things the way he is supposed to, understood that some folks always want to "speak to the manager". Most people know in any line of business that if they complain enough, gripe enough or threaten blah, blah, blah, that they can get the refund they shouldn't have or get a product at a discount or get the dinner for free. Maintenance has been great since the beginning. Jenny, the old manager was great, and the current staff has been on top of things since I've been here. I definitely recommend this property but will admit that when you live in an apartment you have to understand "apartment living".

Another post commented an apartment is only as good as the worst tennant. There is some truth to that. And management is at fault when they intentionally ignore issues such as kids in the business center messing around.
