I really like the community and I think the apartments are really nice although they are overpriced. I disagree with other posts, I think the staff here is very friendly, but I have a couple of concerns.

1) Parking is horrible if you live in the front of the complex. If you come home after 6 pm you have to park far from your building. If you go out on a Friday night good luck finding a spot when you get home near your apartment. Its not exactly the safest thing walking back at night when you are alone. Which leads me to my second issue...

2) There has been a recent series of crimes--break ins during the day and most recently a woman was approached by a man where he demanded her laptop and purse. Luckily he was caught, but it still is scary. With the amount of money we pay here we should feel more safe. The cops that patrol the area seem to be more concerned with giving people tickets for parking in handicap spots and having expired registration stickers then making the residents feel safe. The community should definitely have 24 hour security, more lighting outside as well as cameras outside. I really like the area but I will not renew my lease because I am terrified that more crime will occur. I would like to walk from car to my apartment without the feeling that someone might attack me or rob me.

I completely agree. It is unsafe and instead of working on resolving the issues with safety and crime the staff focuses on less serious problems.

I live in the community and I totally agree on safety issues. They broke in to my car, and police told me they had a couple of more similar cases in our community same night. Also police told me that I could find the similar items which they took from my car in swap meet or flea market. So you can understand they are hopeless too. Serving tickets without protection. Administration do not do anything regarding safety issue too.
