Not worth the money

Save your money...rent somewhere else. This apartment complex is not worth it for many reasons. They have you pay more for all these "ameneties," however none of them are ever working. Examples are but are not limited to the hot tub, tanning beds, the gates, volleyball court, barbecue grill, etc. I am tired of paying more for a gated community that is never gated! Parking is another major issue. Luckily I have a garage attached to my apartment. When I used to have a carport, other people would park in it and the office staff would do nothing about it, nor would they refund my money. I was paying for a spot I rarely could use. They say they will tow, but they never do. And there is limited parking if you do not pay for it somehow. If you get to the complex after 9 or 10 pm, expect to park far away from your apartment and walk in the dark! Also, I have never heard so much from upstairs neighbors before in my life! For instance, my upstais neighbor plays a musical instrument that the office staff informed me is prohibited, yet they have done nothing about it for a year. This person still plays their instrument all day...its annoying. The pipes are loud too. It constantly sounds like water is rushing through our walls. We are just waiting for the day it all leaks out. It happens when the neighbors run their water in the sink, dishwasher, disposal, washer, shower and when they flush the toilet. We are constantly listening to water! The pool is stated as being resort style. Not in my opinion. Also, it seems that everyone in the city of Irving comes to this pool. It is worse than being at a public pool. The work out room is small, with only three treadmills for over 500 apartments to share. This is one of the biggest apartment complexes in the community, yet it has the smallest pool and work out room. The office staff is unnecessarily rude. They talk bad about each other and make fun of each other's mistakes, all the while you are sitting there wondering if anything is going to get done to solve your problem. They also say they will do something, yet it never gets done. I would have to say all the problems started (except for the water in the walls) when Lincoln Property took over. The staff they brought in is rude as mentioned before, and they do not seem to care about the interests of their residents. They also screw you over in renewing your lease. They make you start on the 1st of the month, and only give you your renewal rate offered for a 12 month lease. Then you end up staying for 13 months unless you want to raise your rent to go to an 11 month lease or less, which would be raised even more than they do on their own each year. It is absolutely ridiculous. I have lived here for 3 years, but it is just this past year with Lincoln Properties that has made me want to move out. The apartment rent is going up again, and it is just not worth the excessive amount of money they are asking now. If I got quality service and friendly customer care, that would be one thing. But why should I give more money to people who do not help me or care! Don't rent here! Save your money! Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
