Driving past Rosemont I use to think "wow, what a great apartment complex!" By the time I moved in Archstone had taken over and the new management was really marketing the fact that they were upgrading the amenities such as the gym and repainting the exterior of the complex. I was excited at first but unfortunately the make-over turned out to be a make-under!! It took six weeks to redo the gym and other than adding a few flat screen t.v.'s it looked worse. Not only was it not as classy, they redid the locker rooms by taking out the hot tubs and replacing the mirrors lining the indoor basketball court with carpet. The equipment is still very out dated which I thought was the whole point of redoing the gym. Since they started the upgrades the complex looks like a construction site. They have turned the water off six times in the few short months that I have lived here. The worse part though is that the exterior was much nicer before they repainted the complex a nasty brown color. Once again the promised upgrade ended up taking away from the classiness of the complex and this is definetely reflected by the new people moving in. Dog poop is common on the ground and the new management is arrogant in dealing with any discrepancies. Although I like the size and layout of my apartment I will be moving out when my lease is up. Trust me, for the price you pay, save your money for the newer apartments in the area with better management and a sales pitch that lives up to the hype!!
