The people that are getting on here saying that these apartments are great must have lived in a very very bad neighborhood before they move to benchmark. Because these are the worse apartments I have ever stayed in period!!! The staff is very rude and they lie an awful lot about the simplest things. The grass hasn't been cut since september 2008 and they say the reason for this is b/c the grass cutting season has ended. I personally have never heard of such a thing. Now let's talk about the maintenance that doesn't happen. It takes about a week or two for any maintenance request to be filled, but that is after several follow up calls. Their is no since of urgency for anything but the rent when it comes down to things being done. It's always some promotion going on if you pay your rent early I've yet seen someone who has won one of these, but they have them. You have neighbor's that play music loud with their front door wide open and a office staff member will walk right by the apartment and say nothing.WOW!! Let's just say if you like being charged $600 to $700 for rent where they don't pay attention to maintenance request, landscaping ( I forgot to mention the dog crap all over the grass and sidewalks), and a staff that is not very knowledgeable about what goes on in the complex that they work at, then BENCHMARK is the place for you.
