i've spent 16 months here, and will be moving out in another 2 months. overall, it was a decent place to live, considering the neighborhood and the rental price. the office staff was always friendly and helpful, and maintenance requests were addressed in a reasonable time frame. i never had a problem with bugs (except for the occasional fruit flies, which were admittedly my own fault).

the biggest problem i had was the fact that the complex is so close to the airport, jetliners regularly fly overhead, and they're so close to the ground that the shrieking of the engines is deafening. it's especially annoying on rainy days, when apparently EVERY plane must come in from the same direction, so every 30 seconds a plane goes tearing past about 100 feet above your head.

it's also worth mentioning that a LOT of people here have dogs, many of them large breeds, and despite it being against the complex rules, people will often leave their dogs out on their patio for hours at a time. i'm not sure which is worse, listening to a boxer bark every second for 4 solid hours in the middle of the night, or listening to the puppy next door that yelps and cries like it's being tortured for most of the day. then there was the pit bull i ran into last night, which was wandering around the stairwells of my building completely unattended.

all in all, it's a decent apartment for the price, and the problems you might encounter are fairly common for this part of town. but i still wouldn't recommend this place to any of my friends.
